I have no idea how my name landed in the notification file of Dr. Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Green Peace. Perhaps my name showed up in an old document, for once, I, too, was a believer in the organization. Dr. Moore helped start Green Peace in 1971 while being a PhD student in ecology. He was one of the key leaders—shaping policy—and growing the organization. However, as the organization became viable, he watched as it, like so many other initially good movements, was taken over by leftists, who used the organization for their extremist political agenda. Because of this trend, Dr. Moore left the organization in 1986.

Recently interviewed, he expressed his changed view to a large TV audience thus: “the whole climate crisis is not only fake news, it’s fake science.”

One can only imagine the volume of decibels emitted by his former associates, as they screamed their anger. Dr. Moore, now a well-hated “climate denier,” believes it is his moral and professional duty to expose groups like Green Peace and many others stoking fear to promote a socialist agenda.

As the left always does, Green Peace and assorted other “environmental groups,” do not want to debate scientists and their facts in open discourse, but instead eliminate their influence by eradicating their names and scientific contributions from the records, the internet, and with the help from the media, from publications.

Moore states that we are in a war of intelligent stewardship of our resources, based on free market principles and the protection of our private property rights, against the reckless intrusion into our business, and private lives. It is a war on capitalism and freedom.

Of course, anyone not indoctrinated by CNN and the leftist press knows that the Greens want power and control—not to save the planet. That would be like stopping volcanos from erupting or to prevent earthquakes to shake mountains and plains.

Dr. Moore and the organization he is supporting now, CFACT, (Committee For a Constructive Tomorrow,) are appalled by the “Green New Deal,” a supposedly fact based construct, cobbled together by unnamed scientists and politicians. The so-called consensus of the Scientific community is a sham. Only 36 % of scientists agree with the end of the world scenario tat fuels the agenda of the globalists in the UN. And here is the problem, these so-called scientists will not allow debate on the facts.

Under the Green New Deal the government would have license to enter our homes and grade their so-called “sustainability.” The Green deal calls for retrofitting every building for “maximal energy efficiency.” The cost to each household could be as high as $150,000. Guess what all this means? You will not really own your home anymore, because the government can tell you what you must spend and do to keep it. Then, after the government enforced the expense of the retrofit and other changes, the government may decide that you occupy too much space per person for global sustainability and force you take in “renters,” designated by the government. It has happened before. In east Germany. The UCLA planning professor, Kian Goh, stated already, “if we want to keep cities safe in the face of climate change, we need to seriously question the ideal of private homeownership.” Really? What an Orwellian concept—Americans living in government apportioned housing!

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez is fully invested in the Green New Deal. To support it, she would raise the marginal tax rate for high-income people to more than 70%.

Her former chief of staff openly admitted, “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is that it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all…we rally think of it as how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy-thing.”

Well, there you have it! Welcome to the World of Socialism.  It scares me, for I have already lived in this world once before.
